Abstract

太和层状镁铁质-超镁铁质岩体是峨眉山大火成岩省内带赋存超大型钒钛磁铁矿床的几个层状岩体之一,蕴含了超过8103107吨矿石,平均品位~33%全Fe、~12%TiO2、~0.3%V2O5。太和岩体长约3 km,宽约2 km,厚约1.2 km左右,倾向东南,倾角50-60°。锆石U-Pb年龄分析表明太和岩体的结晶年龄在259±3 Ma(She et al.,in press),暗示太和岩体形成
